and let me tell you a little bit about myself! 

Of Portuguese descent, but with a dash of German

and a sprinkle of Alabama, I've had quite the journey.

As a wife and mom of two, life's always been an adventure, but after 15 years in the corporate world

and the latest addition to the family, I realized it was time

for a change.

That's when Roots in Portugal was born!

What started as a tiny laser project quickly exploded into a full-on woodshop extravaganza!

Now, armed with tools like scroll saws, table saws, and routers, I'm living my power tool dreams.

There's just something magical about the smell of wood and the endless possibilities it holds.
